All those who do not wish to receive marketing messages – by phone or via e-mail may apply for registration in special databases.
Sadly there is no a pan-European system of MPS, so if the consumer gets annoying email from a trader placed in another EU country will need to register in the proper system of the that country.
Polish Robinson List is run by the Direct Marketing Association since 1996, when it was recorded by the General Inspector for Personal Data Protection. It contains names of people who do not wish to receive unsolicited mails with promotional and advertising materials from companies that are members of the association.
