So the consumer reported a claim to the seller. But the trader refused to accept it and pointed out that the deadline on the presumption that the defect may be hidden (existing at the time of sale) had expired six months before.

The consumer reported her problem to the ECC Poland. She asked for help in recovering her money that she had paid for the shoes, because she did not want to receive the same shoes as a result of exchange. The consumer was asked for proof that the defect is so substantial that the repair or replacement is not possible or worth. Then the case was referred to the German ADR body. However, the new arguments of the consumer and support of the ECC-Net made the trader revised its position and paid money back.
