The European Parliament called on EU member states and the European Commission to break down barriers to the growth of the EU’s digital single market in a resolution voted on 27th of November. MEPs also stressed the need to prevent online companies from abusing dominant positions by enforcing EU competition rules and unbundling search engines from other commercial services.
Eurolot announced that it will realize its planned schedule till 31st of March 2015. The company also informed that passengers who purchased tickets for later dates, will receive a 100 percent refund, or as far as possible no-cost flight rebooking on another carrier.

Kilka dni przed odlotem otrzymała informację, że jej lot został odwołany, a kolejny odbędzie się za trzy dni. Konsumentka nie mogła pozwolić sobie na przymusowe wydłużenie pobytu i znalazła alternatywne połączenie. Przewoźnik zgodził się na zamianę biletów na lot, który odbywał się dzień wcześniej niż planowany.

Komisja Europejska opublikowała 33. roczne sprawozdanie z kontroli stosowania prawa UE. Raport zawiera również tabelę wyników dotyczącą jednolitego rynku, która pokazuje, że w większości dziedzin eliminowane są bariery dla swobodnego przepływu osób, towarów, usług i kapitału w UE.
The consumer purchased pair of shoes from the German e-shop which had a quality certificate. After the delivery he decided to withdraw from the contract and return the boots to the seller. Terms & Conditions informed that the cost of returning the goods would be borne by the seller. The company offered its own courier service. The consumer ordered this courier twice, but each time its employee has not turned up.
One day a consumer while sitting at home heard the doorbell. She opened the door, in front of her was a courier who handed her a package with a book about dieting. Although she was surprised signed a protocol – she was assured that the book was free. After opening the package she noticed that behind the cover of the book was placed an invoice.
Polish consumer has ordered from British trader the carriage of personal belongings from Poland to Great Britain. The service cost 300 euro. However it turned out that the trader has charged the consumer of 265 euro extra as a punishment for the carriage of alcohol. ECC Poland jointly with ECC UK stated that such a record in contract is an illegal clause.
Konsumentka z Polski spędzała urlop w Hiszpanii. Przed wyjazdem wynajęła samochód przez stronę brytyjskiego pośrednika z dodatkowym ubezpieczeniem typu „pełna ochrona”. W czasie urlopu doszło do stłuczki z winy innego kierowcy. Wypożyczalnia samochodowa mimo ubezpieczenia zażądała od konsumentki pokrycia kosztów naprawy w wysokości 1000 EUR (ok. 4200 PLN).
