Despite the complaint hotel did not return the money to the customer, that is why she contacted ECC Poland. The center transferred the case to the ECC Spain. Although the consumer did not have proof that stolen items were in her room, thanks to cooperation of ECC Poland and ECC Spain, she received a refund of 4000 PLN (950 EUR).

Polish consumer was spending holidays in a Spanish hotel in Tenerife. During her absence somebody broke into her locked room and stole a laptop of 3000 PLN (714 EUR) and a camera of 1500 PLN (360 EUR). The consumer immediately informed the manager of the hotel, who reported to the police of the incident.
