The European Consumer Centre Poland contacted the polish seller and indicate the violation of Slovakian law. Moreover pointed that the paper copy should have been made available to the consumer in accordance with the agreement concluded with him. The trader ran his website also in Slovak language, so he should be prepared for the necessity of providing consumers with documents in Slovak language. In consequence of the discussions led by the ECC Poland with store owner, he delivered camera’s manual in an appropriate form.
Note: Regulations of polish law also require from traders to deliver to the polish consumers manuals in their mother tongue. (Art. 5461 of the Civil Code).
