Experts of the European Consumer Centre in Poland will be informing consumer about their rights while: using of public transport, shopping, booking hotels, and about the possibilities of amicable settlement of disputes with traders operating in the European Union. Representatives of the Office of Rail Transportation will provide advices on the rights of rail passengers. Passengers will be welcomed to ask questions as many as they want. All the information will be given for free.

Once again, we decided to organize the action, which at the time of increased frequency of trips remind passengers-consumers about their rights, and to whom they can turn to for free help in case of trouble. This type of events were organized in June also by the most of the 30 centers of the European Consumer Centres Network (ECC-Net) – says Piotr Stanczak, Director of ECC Poland

The patrons of event are: Representation of the European Commission and the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection.

Duty hours for the media will take place on the day of the event in the Information Centre of ECC Poland in the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection, at Plac Warsaw Uprising 1 (room 1.5.) between 10.00-12.00.
