A Polish consumer rented a yacht in Italy. He could not use it due to the pandemic. The company suggested a voucher return. The client rejected this offer, but a voucher was nevertheless sent to his e-mail address. The consumer referred the case to ECC Poland. It turned out that the Italian seller is refusing to pay money on the basis of the provisions of the Italian anti-crisis special act. However, ECC Italy noted that the special rules did not cover the yacht charter. The Polish consumer received a refund of EUR 560.
