Polish – Swedish cooperation
Michał spent nearly 9 000 PLN (around 2 000 EUR) on tickets to the US for two people. The pandemic made the flight impossible, so he approached the seller – a Swedish dealer – for a refund. The broker only agreed to the voucher. So Michał filled a complaint demanding the return of money. He was refused, so he directed his further steps to ECC Poland.
After the joint intervention of ECC Poland and ECC Sweden, the company agreed to the refund. However, the consumer got a transfer for one reservation.The second payment got stuck in the system. At the request of Michał, ECK Sweden contacted the seller again and the rest of the amount was successfully transferred to his account.
