A Polish consumer travelled from Warsaw to Rzeszow by bus operated by popular German company. After arriving to Rzeszow, the passenger realized that her luggage was missing. The baggage contained clothes, cosmetics and food products from Greece and Italy. The driver claimed that her luggage was probably taken by another passenger and suggested to the consumer taking the baggage left in the trunk…
The passenger did not agree to the driver’s proposal and filed a complaint to the German trader. In response, the bus company only informed her that the luggage had not been found. The Consumer decided to send a complaint to the European Consumer Centre in Poland, which after careful analysis, referred the case to ECC Germany. As a result of cooperation between the centers, the passenger received compensation in the amount of 200 EUR.
