No cars for rent

A Polish consumer rented a car in Croatia through a Latvian website. He paid 200 euro for it. However, at the airport from which he was supposed to pick up the car, it turned out that there were no cars available. The company cancelled the booking and informed the consumer that he should contact the intermediary for a refund. While the time to resolve the case had passed, the consumer still had not received his money. He then decided to contact ECC Poland for help, which forwarded the case to the centre in the trader’s country – ECC Latvia.

With the help of ECC-Net, the consumer received a full refund  of PLN 200 euro (956.14 PLN).
