Driver error

A consumer from Gdansk used Estonian passenger transport application operating in Poland. The application indicated that the trip would cost 32 PLN (7,7 EUR). However, the driver missed the exit from the beltway, which made the trip longer. Consumer was charged 82 PLN (19,5 euro). The company admitted the driver’s mistake and offered her voucher for the next services. Based on its regulation, the trader rejected the consumer’s request for a money refund on the payment card. The case was reported to ECC Poland, which together with ECC Estonia helped the consumer get a 50 PLN refund to her bank account.
