Airline damaged child’s luggage

The consumer was flying with his family to Greece. The child trolley they took with them was damaged during transport. The item had a damaged wheel and the unfolding mechanism did not work. Mr Tomasz reported the incident at the airport, where he received the necessary report. The repair service stated that the repair was not cost-effective. The cost of the repair was the same as the price of a new trolley. The Greek airline accepted the consumer’s claim, but did not pay out compensation of PLN 1575. Thanks to the help of ECK Poland and ECK Greece, they managed to reach an agreement with the airline. Mr Tomasz was paid compensation of PLN 1575.
