Under Polish regulations, if a defect in the product was discovered after one year, it is the customer who is obliged to prove that the defect had already existed on the day the product was purchased. The seller may ask the consumer for any proof,
e.g. in the form of an expert opinion. This period may vary in the EU countries.

On <date of purchase> I purchased <product name> in <company name>, for the amount of <enter the amount and currency>.

On <date when the defect was discovered> it turned out that the purchased product was defective <describe the defect>.

Because the period of 2 years has not elapsed since the purchase and the defect in my opinion is material, I would like to withdraw from the contract and get a full reimbursement.

I am looking forward for your reply within 14 days of receiving this message.

Yours faithfully,
<First and last name>
