A game lover from Poland, was unable to buy a console with his gift card (480 euro ). Each payment on the Irish shop’s website ended with an error.
Mr. Maciej contacted the customer support office. The support staff was unable to explain the cause of the error or fix it – they only informed him that he was not the first person reporting this problem. Meantime, the price of the product has increased to PLN 495 euro. Mr Maciej wanted the retailer to allow him to buy the console at the price he had seen on the day he decided to buy it. At the same time the consumer was paying for a subscription to games, which he could not use as he did not have a console
The consumer turned to ECC Poland for help. Thanks to the help of ECC-Net, the consumer was able to buy the product with a gift card at the original price of 480 euro. In addition, , the retailer extended the validity of his gaming subscription for the time he was unable to use it.
