ECC (European Consumer Centre) network provides information and advice concerning consumer protection in cross-border transactions within the territory of the European Union, Norway and Iceland.

For the issues related to consumer protection in national transactions we suggest to contact poviat and city consumer spokesmen and Polish Consumer Organizations.

European Consumer Centre informs that it replies to the correspondence received by e-mail which meets the requirements specified in Article 63(2) of the Act of 14 June 1960 Code of administrative procedures (consolidated text: Dz. U. of 2000, No. 98, item 1071 as amended), which reads as follows:
“A request should include at least an indication of its sender, the sender’s address and his/her claim, moreover, it should meet other requirements laid down in specific regulations.”

This means that the content of the correspondence sent to the Centre should include at least an indication of:
– the sender (name),
– the address (zip code, city(town), street and house number) of the sender,
– subject matter.

Important notice! Lodging a complaint to the ECC Poland does not suspend the period of prescription for bringing an action at law.”
