Water park closed – what about the tickets?

The European Consumer Centers network received a complaint from a Lithuanian consumer who bought five tickets to water park in Poland. She was to come with her family in mid-April. The coronavirus epidemic bombed the plans – the border was closed and as well as the water park.

The water park first promised a refund, then stopped responding to messages. The park’s client turned to ECC Lithuania for help. The case was transferred to ECC Poland, which contacted the entrepreneur and demanded 112.21 EUR. After the intervention of the Polish centre, the entire amount was transferred to the consumer’s account.
